Zenith El Primero watches replica The list price of the stainless steel 42mm Zenith El Primero 410 I reviewed here, is CHF 9800 Swiss Francs. I haven ’ t heard Zenith about their pricing policy yet, but noticed other brands changed their pricing structure. In any case, I believe that CHF 9800 Swiss Francs is a fair price for this timepiece, using the pre January 2015 conversion with the Euro for now. There are many other available stainless steel chronographs in this price range, but only a few that could be considered a true competitor given the full calendar combination with the 36000bph in-house developed chronograph movement. Also, I ’ ve been told by Zenith that they are quick with service and repairs due to the fact that they have everything in-house in Le Locle. This also results in the fact that they are able to keep the costs of these periodical maintenance or incidental repairs acceptable compared to other brands.I am looking forward to see Zenith in a few weeks from now in BaselWorld to see what they have come up with and whether they can change the structure of their collection a bit so it becomes a bit more, well, logical. When the watch craze begun for me, somewhere in the 1990 ’ s, I met with a watchmaker (who I became friends with) who had this interest in Zenith ’ s El Primero chronograph movements. Oh, and gold watches. He showed me his Zenith El Primero Chronomaster with full calendar in gold and I was sold. Every time I see this watch – be it in gold or stainless steel – I remind myself to buy that watch at some point. So, when Zenith contacted me whether we would be interested in doing a review and photo shoot on their Zenith Elite Chronograph Classic I immediately said yes. A while ago Bert and I traveled to Switzerland to do a little tour visiting watch manufacturers and one of them was Zenith (you can find the visit report here). It was one of the most impressive visits I have done so far since 2004.

Glashuette Original Cosmopolite watches replica Glashütte Original is one of the more interesting watch brands under the larger Swatch Group umbrella, if for no other reason than that it is German and not Swiss. In a lot of ways, it is a good thing that a company such as Glashütte Original has a larger corporate parent because it has allowed the brand to evolve in a lot of interesting ways, such as being able to purchase its own dial maker. Moreover, the Swiss connection has certainly had its impact on the watch designs which, in my opinion, often do a great job of blending the functional-minded approach of the Germans with the polished attractive design sense of the Swiss. It is for this core reason that I feel a lot of modern-day watch lovers look eagerly to the new releases from this impersonally named brand – that might benefit from having a bit more of a face. Today, let ’ s review the Glashütte Original PanoMaticLunar … in 18k red gold.Perhaps Glashütte Original watches don ’ t need a face, as the small Saxon watchmaking town of Glashütte, Germany, might provide more than enough character. While it takes some investment in your education as a watch lover, most people quickly come to associate the fabled village with some of the best watches in the world (and they wouldn ’ t be wrong). Yes and no. The collections are linked by their region of manufacture and designs, but the brands who produce them will be quick to point out how the watches are all very different. This is true especially because Lange 1 timepieces tend to be priced more than the Pano range which is generally a lot more varied and accessible in its price points. If anything, given their quality and design, Glashütte Original watches are a good value, whereas A. Lange & Sohne is positioning itself very much as a top-tier luxury product.

Replica MCT watches for sale To fully understand and appreciate the MCT Dodekal One D110 requires some context. MCT, or Manufacture Contemporaire du Temps in full, was founded in 2007 by master watchmaker Denis Giguet. Giguet is perhaps most famous for being the man behind the Harry Winston Opus 11 of 2011, which some consider to be one of the most outstanding of all the Harry Winston Opus pieces. The Opus 11, like the MCT Dodekal One that you see here, uses a digital display to show the time. And the theme of digital displays has been one that has guided the creation of every MCT timepiece. The Dodekal One D110 comes in MCT ’ s signature cushion case and there are two variants to choose from: full titanium and DLC titanium with pink gold. The one we got to handle was the full titanium version. It measures 43mm by 43mm, which makes it a rather large watch. It is quite thick too. It definitely has loads of wrist presence, but thanks to the short lugs and the fact that it is made out of ultra-light titanium, it doesn ’ t feel unwieldy or cumbersome on the wrist. One thing to note is that despite the somewhat sporty design of the case, water resistance is just 30m.Because of the sizable 43mm by 43mm case, the dial, which is black, is expansive. The first thing that will probably capture your eye is the large bridge that cuts diagonally across the dial. The bridge forms a circular aperture in the middle with the brand ’ s name engraved sharply onto it. Within the aperture are cutouts that show the digital display of the hours. The minutes, in case you were wondering, are indicated in a more traditional way. There ’ s black disc with minute indexes that surround the center aperture. Above it is a transparent sapphire disc with a small mounted red hand that travels around the black disc once every hour, much like a regular minute hand would. The driving motion actually comes from the wheel at the bottom left of the dial. In any case, it is easy to get used to telling the time on this watch.

replica AUDEMARS PIGUET Royal Oak Offshore Watch Audemars Piguet has been creating some of the most technically interesting watches in their Royal Oak Concept collection for the past couple of years. Earlier this year, they unveiled the equally complex Royal Oak Concept Supersonnerie Tourbillon Chronograph watch, a minute repeater exemplifying Audemars Piguet ’ s obsession with sound clarity and quality.Last year, they showed off the Royal Oak Concept Laptimer, a highly complicated chronograph with three column wheels that could measure consecutive lap times.Of course, it would be cruel to show you pictures and tell you about this watch ’ s amazing sound without a video to let you hear it, so do play the video above to hear it for yourself. The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Concept Supersonnerie Tourbillon Chronograph watch is a piece that took Audemars Piguet eight long years to develop, and the goal was to create the ultimate striking watch. The minute repeater complication is often regarded as one of the most difficult and … well, complicated to make – so imagine how hard it is to create one from scratch. The next thing to remember is that Audemars Piguet didn ’ t only want to create a new minute repeater watch, they wanted to create one that would be the best. Now, the “ best ” for Audemars Piguet means their striving to create the most clear and crisp sound of any minute repeater. The brand points to three accomplishments demonstrated in this watch, which I will briefly run through. First, the unique preparation of the steel used to create the gong structure allows the watchmakers to more accurately and easily adjust and hone the pitch, tone, and harmony of the minute repeater. Second, the way the case is built minimizes sound absorption and maximizes amplification. I ’ ll discuss this “ soundboard ” technique more a little bit later on. Finally, the striking regulator is redesigned so the anchor system acts like a shock absorber, minimizing shock noise.
